Coming to you live from Trinity College Dublin, Prof. Cormac Ó Cuilleanáin, the former Head of Italian at the College, will be introducing and leading the discussion of Natalia Ginzburg’s 1960 Italian novel, Family Lexicon.
And I will be there because any chance I get to talk about this astonishing author and this incredible book is a gift.
The New York Times described Ginzburg’s autobiographical piece as a ‘glowing light of modern Italian literature . . . As direct and clean as if it were carved in stone, it yet speaks thoughts of the heart.’
The event will take place Feb 16 at 1:30pm EST. Open to the public for free – register here.
